At JobAngels, our mission is to help bring people together in a community setting where each person commits to a single goal: to help just one person find gainful employment. That person can be a friend, a family member, a colleague or a complete stranger. JobAngels members are innovative and passionate about driving a new generation of talent networking that is both meaningful and results-oriented.
Please join us on Friday, January 29th at 6pm ET to celebrate the one year anniversary of JobAngels. Hear from our founder, the JobAngels volunteer leadership team, successful job seekers and some very special guests. We'll also have some exciting announcements to share. JobAngels began one year ago with a single "Tweet" on the microblogging service Twitter. In that short time, this grassroots movement has grown to an active community of more than 40,000 members strong. Both traditional and new media have embraced our mission with JobAngels featured on 250+ television stations, in 40+ tier one newspapers and magazines, on 2,000+ blogs and podcasts and in dozens of conferences and events. JobAngels participants have sent over 2.5 million messages of encouragement, job postings, networking and feedback. As a result, nearly 1,400 people (that we know of) have found gainful employment through association with our movement. This is a vibrant ecosystem of hope and we sincerely appreciate the spirit of giving born from the simple concept of helping just one person find gainful employment. On behalf of job seekers everywhere, we applaud your individual and collective efforts!

It begins by picking just one person. Please remember that assistance can come in many forms. This can range from a sympathetic ear to offering real-world advice, resume reviews, networking connections and much more. Ultimately, we are all simply helping to put people back to work one individual at a time.
JobAngels is pleased to introduce Taking Flight, a newsletter that will help keep you informed of the latest and greatest from the JobAngels family. Please remember that we take the privacy of our community members very seriously.
